Punched Rose and a sneak peek

Posted by Dianette "Jany" Seda en 20 abril 2009

As promised, I’m sharing today something great! It’s a teaser of my May scorpal project. I’ll add then Instructions in English and Spanish with pictures of what I did differently from the scorpal project. I did these roses out of our punches.

The yellow rose was done with the Ex Jumbo Flower and the red one was done with Super Jumbo Flower. I used coordinating cardstock from our Cha Cha paper collection and cut the leaves from scraps I had in a free form.

I’m submitting this today to:

As for the teaser: Well, here it is! It is a project I found on the Scorpal website. I loved it but found it a little boring. I just found a tutorial in how to make these roses and learned to do them so I wanted to see if I could showcase them in it. I did some squares to decorate the bottom. I am still thinking of adding clear acetate or leaving them like that because my rose is visible! I might surprise you when I finally finish my tutorial. I added another bottom to it so I could use it as a pen holder and OMG! I just want to share it with you before May 3!

Would you like to learn how to make the rose? Then leave me a comment! It’s so easy that I think I can do a little video to get a tutorial to you! If you prefer not to comment, you can always e-mail me!

Before I forget, I have a class comming up. Keep watching for details if you’re in the Metro area in Puerto Rico.
