Latest Update and a card to share

Okay, for those who read my blog and sent comments and prayers know that there were winds through the night where I live and some rain. Not too bad at all and my house is whole. I’m so happy for that! I’m working while writing this what means that life went on as normal. For the nature of two entries back (too personal) I will change that entry as draft since I wouldn’t like for it to fall in wrong hands. After all, it has pictures of my home and my car. That is why you will not find it here.

Update on my weight loss: I did it! I lost 10 pounds already! And I won a ribbon because I lost a total of 12 inches in my body!!! So, two good reasons to be happy. I’m looking forward to the day I can dress like my card.

Do you like my card? I designed it for a swap but then didn’t enter and then I went back (after posting the picture in Paper Wings) and did joined. The swap was about doing a shape card. I thought of making this as an invitation to a pool party. Isn’t that one cool? Well, i will be making another and sharing after I get my swap back.

Stamps: None
Paper/cardstock: Cream colored cardstock, Lap of Luxury DP (Retired TAC paper)
Embellishments: Ribbon, Bitty Flowers,
Inks/coloring: Stardust gel pen for the details in the patterned paper, Skin tones pencils for the belly button and the lines of her belly down to her skirt.
Techniques: None
