Cards with a shape Swap

These cards were done for a swap I’m in, in Paper Wings. I’m using here the Penelope paper. Remember that once you order (just for this month) the Penelope paper, cardstock and ribbon for $18.40, you get the Sydney round album kit for free. Yes, the one I did for the Dutch Dare cardmakers last Thursday! I didn’t use anything I found over the net but I was inspired by a few I’ve seen. I’ve read the different tutorials and I wasn’t able to create one, so I did my own. I did a paper template for the first one but it was after I did one side all by my own, so the other side would be the same (I had it crooked). Then out of the first card I did the template I ended using.

I cut the Kraft cardstock first, then attached the paper and cut. But that didn’t work as I wanted and I started glueing the paper and then cutting out. My card is 4X6 but the inside is cut 1/2″ shorter. For step by step instructions contact me.
